Confirmed: Snickers Snickers (Eric Gottung) has passed away
Stefan brought this to my attention a month or two ago. There were things that were written on Snicker's Facebook that suggested he died a while back, and so I decided to do some investigation on this matter. After checking again through Google yesterday, I did see evidence that confirms that yes, Snicker's is no longer alive. He passed away on March 2, 2011. I don't know how or why. The only thing I know is that the day before he died, they buried his grandma. Perhaps he was depressed about it (although I'm not sure - that's just speculation). Quite a shame regardless of the circumstances - he was only 24 years old.
RIP Snickers.

This is very sad. I feel like we could have done something, after seeing all his depressing messages. It's absolutely terrible when sadness and depression takes someone's life (assuming that this was suicide), and snickers snickers seemed like a very smart and poetic guy. R.I.P.

i'm not really sure how this is going to go over on here, but i feel the urge to let this one out, so here goes...
he wasn't depressed about his grandmother, and yeah he was a tortured soul, but he did a lot of s*** things to other people, including trying to "spread things" on purpose to people. doing a little research (god i love google) i came across this site and found his profile. he hid from people and constantly changed his email and profiles and locations to avoid being trackeddown. i was actually part of his "big scheme" a few years ago where he wanted to get me sick, f*** up my relationship and blackmail me using me as a case study so he could write a freaking novel. i know it sounds nuts, but it's the truth. ironic how the insane need to make other normal people into "case studies." needless to say, his plan backfired on him, and he ended up bouncing from place to place and i guess landed in california at the time of his death. yes it was suicide as it seems his family couldn't even give him a proper obituary.everything was private. i always remembered him having some parent issues, but who the hell had none of those?!? i'm pretty sure the death certificate was from California, where he always dreamed of moving away to. anyways, without going into any more details, just want to let you know, if you had a few "fun" conversations with this guy on this site, great, but don't feel bad for what happened to him. it's all karma, and depending on your beliefs, he is or is not in a better place.

someone actually told me about what exactly happened a few weeks ago, and all i can say is i am speechless about it. with respect to his passing and the friend's privacy, i won't say much else beyond that.
