"bi-partisan polar garbage" is what I originally said. There is NO BIPARTISANSHIP. You appear to be the person who blames Obama for this polarization, and I appear to be the guy that blames Bush for it. However; at this point in time, America needs to be working together instead of drifting apart. While I am at it, maybe the Reps need to be concentrating on the real problems here instead of worrying abut Obama's citizenship, his education, his religious beliefs and ridiculous things like homosexuality(even after Foley, Craig and Ashburn...the republicans get caught doing strange things). I fail to see how any of that is going to solve our problems.

Good points but lets be realistic and look at Barney Frank and Chuck who actually perpetuated the housing crisis by forcing fanny Mae and Freddie Mac to issue bad loans to people that could not pay and also Maxine Waters who's husband was working for a bank that also got a portion of the porkulous stimulus package. The point being that there is enough blame to go around for both parties. Bottom line is we need to cut spending and cut it deeply. Reduce salaries for all government employees and yes renegotiate the union contracts to be realistic. Will that happen, No not with either party I am afraid but that is what needs to happen. We are headed for a tremendous inflationary period worse than when Jimmy Carter left office if we keep printing money like this.

Or I could just blame the trend and model of American party politics in general? You would have to be an idiot (I'm not holding my breath in your case) to blame a partisan congress on a single presidency. Don't get your liberal panties too wet as they may tighten when the sun comes out (spread your ass-cheeks and find out), it could be much worse- a perfect example is the responsible party system in the UK.
You seem like the type of person who keeps their eyes glued to MSNBC. I hardly think the republicans are going to get their agenda through the house by raising issues of Obama's citizenship, education (he went to Columbia! What a dumb ass!), his religious beliefs, homosexuality etc... As they want to get reelected and keep their jobs.
Bottom line, if the economy gets better, Republicans keep the House, Obama keeps his job. Economy gets worse, no-one's job is safe. So there is a possibility you are going to see Obama pull a Clinton and jump through the middle (which is something he proposed when he was first elected, but has failed to do). Also, I am in no way saying economic success was due in a large part to Clinton's policy. I am almost convinced it was due to the economic boom created by a boost in technology- the internet.

Now Now, be nice, you are right if the economy does turn around whoever is in office will keep their jobs. But do not be bashing liberals most people understand that they only watch MSLSD and the communist broadcast station (CBS) or the All Barack Channel (ABC), have no clue and just want handouts. Or better yet steal from the rich and give to the poor. They do not realize it is the rich that creates jobs, that is okay. Give them a break they will learn eventually. Okay maybe not. The socialist agenda will not prevail in the long run. And Chicago type politics will end. The issue is really with both parties. Again we need to cut spending not issue grants to bogus green technology for a fake global warming communist agenda. If we do that we will be fine. Being that I am a Conservative I have to admit I liked Clinton but that was only because he was kept in check by the congress and he moved more to the center. Obama wont, he even said earlier today he wont. Nancy Stretch Pelosi wants to be house minority leader let her. That will cause them to loose more seats. I just hope in the end we will not fund Obama Care and we will cut spending.

The republicans have already stated that their number one goal is to make Obama a one term President. What a healthy way to start after taking the majority in the House. Worried about reelection? Heck, that is how the reps get into office. Throwing fear, mistrust, accusations...instead of talking about the real issues. Hell, you guys did it to John Kerry also. You see that just goes to prove another point, which you will not see stated in the liberal media. That is if the dems do something it is okay but if anyone else does they are not in compliance or they are racist. It is ridiculous but you see it. That is why you cannot argue with a liberal because they have no common sense.
And as to the post about the dow being down that is because the devaluation of the dollar which happens with inflation which we are headed to as long as we allow the government to keep spending and printing money.
Keep in mind again Federal jobs had an increase in salary in 2009 of 26 % Private jobs only 8%. Actual unemployment is at about 15% if you account for all the people that have stopped looking for a job.
And I do not want to get into a discussion about the Unions they just need to go.

What is your fascination with MSNBC? I can't stand Olberman or Maddow. They are just the left wing version of Glen Beck and Hannity. I live in a conservative town with lots of big American trucks and thousands of churches. Are you one of those college kids that just learned something in your political science class and want to show off? If you are trying to impress me it does not work. I sure as hell would not consider myself a full on liberal. I want government to shrink(and don't pull out your Jeffersonian Era ideologies). However; I do get along with liberals a hell of a lot better than conservatives. You guys(or just you) are just too angry all of the time. I hardly think the republicans are going to get their agenda through the house by raising issues of Obama's citizenship, education (he went to Columbia! What a dumb ass!), his religious beliefs, homosexuality etc... As they want to get reelected and keep their jobs.
Bottom line, if the economy gets better, Republicans keep the House, Obama keeps his job. Economy gets worse, no-one's job is safe. So there is a possibility you are going to see Obama pull a Clinton and jump through the middle (which is something he proposed when he was first elected, but has failed to do). Also, I am in no way saying economic success was due in a large part to Clinton's policy. I am almost convinced it was due to the economic boom created by a boost in technology- the internet.
