Album recommendations for songwriting influence.

I never listened to Pink Floyd but was thinking they might be a good influence on my songwriting. what do you guys think? And what other epic rock records out there should I listen to? thanks.

Iceland - Icelandic music is good! :

One of these days off of pinks CD Meddle and National Anthem from Radiohead

An album that is more like burndt jamb where the song writing was more economical and concise and the instruments were the mane focus. I always thought this would be a cool direction for weezer to go.
