Awesome song with very meaningful lyrics, but:

what does Rivers mean by : "...live on an island to find the juice"?

what's "the juice"?

being an 18 year old guy, that was my first thought, but i didn't know how it connected with the rest of the song. now that i think about it, i guess it makes sense.

Makes no sense. Why would he need to get on an island to find that? All he needs is his right hand and (you'd hope?) some solitude.

I wrote a song about the "juice" of the female variety. I wrote the song while sitting outside of San Francisco State waiting for my girlfriend at the time to finish a test.
