A glaringly opportune market for weezer to corner
OK so we know they got some money from the clothing company HURLEY (shop at Pac Sun, kids!) to put towards their latest album HURLEY / buying guitar lessons for Brian.
We also know that they were recently sponsored by State Farm for their Mammaries tour.
But when one thinks of weezer and product placement, I think we can all agree the first thing that comes to mind is the WEEZER SNUGGIE
To illustrate:
Now. One of the other things to be said about the band weezer is that DOGS LOVE THEIR MUSIC.
Just look at how high the dog 'Rainn Wilson' belonging to their lead singer (River Como) jumps every time he hears their records (as evidenced on their aptly titled RADITUDE EP.)
NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING. WHERE IS THE WEEZER DOG SNUGGIE??? AMIRITE
