although the last 30 secs or so added to the studio version is excellent.

Studio. It should've definitely replaced something like Automatic on the Red Album, instead of being a bonus track.

It's hard for me to pick. The demo is brilliant, but the studio version is amazing too. The drums are the most interesting (if not best) thing Pat's done is years, and the guitars are literally screaming by the end. Either way, it's one of their best.

I too think that should have been on the "normal" version, but should have replaced "Thought I Knew". That song sticks out like a sore thumb on TRA.
pig wouldn't have flowed with the rest of the album, that's why miss sweeney, pig, the spider and king were all put as bonus tracks.
