2012 - 20 years of weezer
now then, next year will be two decades of the band. naturally as a fan i hope that this will be celebrated by a big tour, you know all the usual landmark anniversary stuff.
although if we step out side the box of, "come to england/ france/ austrailia/ brazil" i would like to see weezer do something different. here are some thoughts.....
1) a big mahoosive Foozer tour?
2) weezer picks some members on here then plays in their home town ?
3) and because i have run out of ideas................we all (meaning everyone on this site) meet in hong kong for a massive party and get tattoo's
now we all love discussion here so what 3 things would you like to see happen when weezer turns 20?
*but don't write too much i dont like big paragraphs.
*and no crazy suggestions about a6

That would be awesome if they came back to play in Connecticut. They should also put out some more rarities they had from early Weezer.

I recommend taking advantage of the 20th anniversary as there won't be a 25th on this timeline. Judgement day is inevitable. I mean, have you seen the future? Nothing but bleached skulls and robots. No music. I got myself sent back to a time when the future leader of all mankind is still wiping boogers on the wall just to enjoy my retirement. But I like the idea of an expanded Memories Tour. Not every album in it's entirety but perhaps a 3 hour set with intermission playing 5 or so songs off of each album. Maybe have a contest where a few fans in each city get to play with the band. I don't mean hootenanny style but actually playing Brian's guitar parts on one song or bass, etc. Could be 5 fans from each city doing 5 different songs. Or take audience requests. That might be something different. And no chili cook-offs or crawfish boils. Jesus.

weezer should make a world memories tour [WITH CHILE :C] with 15 greatest hits + blue/pink. Also, releasing a box set with homie/ss2k stuff would be great

I would like to see a tour and not have weezer looking at their watches all the time, in short it would be great to get a longer set then 1 1/2 hours on the dot. If rush can play for 3 1/2 hours straight in their late 50's Weezer can give us at least a 25 song setlist for once. My rant is done night.
