Awesome show last night! You could tell it was the first night of the tour, the band sounded a little rocky but found their groove and the audience had a blast. I stood pretty close to guardrail and took some good pics of the band. Karl was recording the show and at one point he walked by and I said hi which I think caught him off guard but he nodded and waved back. The set was fun and seeing them in such a small venue was a lot of fun. Bad Rabbits was a great opener they had high energy and Scott walked out on stage during their set, sat toward the back, and nodded along. Good to see they check out the opening groups.
It would appear we're both wrong, the name of the band is Bad Rabbits, plural, which makes a ton of difference. Rabbits has a more upbeat funky sound instead of the doom and gloom of Rabbit. Either way, I'm hoping to have some fun.
I guess Bad Rabbit is Jim Jarmusch's band, he's a director and musician, so if there is a guy with crazy white hair fronting this group then we can expect something a little different. I'm interested to check them out.
I think you mean Tegan and Sara. I've seen them before at a larger venue and they were a lot of fun so if they happen to open that would great. It would also be great if there was no opener and Weezer just played for a few hours, I'd be happy with either.
No extra tickets here, I bought them as soon as the pre-sale opened up because I had a feeling this gig would sell out. Try Stub Hub but you might pay a lot more.
I was not sure if I could make this show so I postphoned buying tickets...... Now they are sold out. Does anyone have 2 extra tickets I can puirchase???
This will be my 5th Weezer show and I'm more pumped for this gig than any of the others because they're playing in my home state!!! Hampton Beach is an awesome place for a show, I've seen quite a few there, and I know Weezer will bring the house down. Kind of bummed it is a Monday night but when the lights go out I know that it won't matter. Also, if there is no opener and the guys play for 3 hours that would be incredible. Wishful thinking....
