I made it to Uptown on Saturday, but not Friday.  I didn't see anyone from Weezer.com so maybe Friday was not to so good?  It worked out though.  There were other weezer fans there, and with the opening line "Are you my friends from the internet?" I had no trouble making new friends fast.  LOL!

uptown lounge is right near aragon. people are going to go there after on friday and saturday if friday is cool.

look like uptown bar and kinetic are very close, like across the streetish. They both look like viable options from the websites.

Would love to meet up after, but I'll have my 16-year-old-nephew with me.  Maybe after I take him home. :( 

Googlemaps says Green Mill Lounge and/or Big Chicks are close -- has anyone ever been?

a bunch of people should plan to go to a certain bar in chicago after the show on friday. it would be fun to have some drinks with some weezer fans after

I don't think anyone is opening....in NY no one opened at all.  Anyone else have any perspective on this?

THERE WILL BE 5 OF US COMING TO THE SHOW. THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT SHOW. I WILL NEVER FORGET BACK IN 2004 WE WENT TO A SHOW AT THE TWEETER CENTER IN TINLEY PARK. IT WAS WEEZER AND DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL. WEEZER TOOK THE STAGE AND ANNOUNCED THEY WOULD BE PLAYING ALOT OF PINKERTON SONGS. THE PLACE WENT NUTS. BUT THE BLUE ALBUM SHOW WILL BE A GREAT EXPERIENCE TO SEE. I WILL BE AT THE BAR IN THE ARAGON BALLROOM DRINKING JACK AND COKE TILL WEEZER ROCKS THE PARTY.

I heard The Limousines are opening. They sing Internet Killed the Video Star. Btw, I'm flying from Vegas for this show. Any must-do activities in Chicago while I'm there? Im having giordano's and gino's pizza, maybe seeing some Frank Lloyd Wright houses. Any other suggestions?
