Weezer

SWEET !!!

I saw Weezer here on the last tour. It's basically a glorified wedding banquet hall with a really low stage at the front. Unless you're 7 feet tall, or in the first row, all you're going to see is Weezer from the eyebrows up. I swore I'd never go back. Unfortunately the only other local date is at Susquehanna Bank Center which is one of those indoor/outdoor venues and the sound sucks. But given the choice between the 2, I'd take Susquehanna, at least you'll be able to see them. Peace

although i live 15 min from A.C. the tickets are super expensive...my husband and i are poor teachers :(...anyone have any good ticket websites? i have been looking for a while now...got tickets for camden...dying to go in A.C. too!!!

Have you tried a Google search? You can usually find 99% of what you need without having to ask anyone. :)

i cant find any listing for this show anywhere. tickets aren't even on ticketmaster. have tickets been released yet? if they have im going to be VERY sad.

tix probably wont be going on sale for A.C. for another week.

My family of 4 are huge Weezer fans and we just can't afford the prices they are asking. It's all for one and one for all here, can't leave anyone behind. We've seen the Weez at least 3 times, but I still wanna rock! I'm going with a google search and see if I can find them cheaper! What ever happened to fan club presales? Weez? I have been looking for tickets for AC, but I don't see any, did they go onsale yet or did I miss the sale???

does anyone know where i can get tickets to the show at the borgata? i cant find them on ticketmaster

I blame Angels and Airwaves for the high prices. I still don't see why Weezer is touring with them...

Angels and Airwaves is a great band and they put on an awesome show. They have absolutely nothing to do with the price of tickets. The Borgata is the smallest arena on Weezer's tour, so unfortunately there has to be some adjustment in ticket prices to offset the smaller size of the venue (approximately 2,400 seats).

Angels and Airwaves is a great band. I've seen them live and their show is incredible. Their ticket prices are always very reasonable so I can't see them being the reason for the high prices. For the small size of the Borgata, I'm actually surprised ticket prices aren't higher than what they are. And I assume they are touring together because they are both on Geffen records.

so whats the deal with this place....is it just one big GA floor? god i hope so

The Borgata is very small in comparison to the other arenas on this tour and most certainly will be the smallest. It holds about 2,400 and has various ways it can be set up. I've seen shows with riser seats in the back, with both floor level seats and a general admission area in the front. Right now it says general admission, but normally there are reserved seats on risers in the back. It's so small actually that there are really no bad seats.

I saw Weezer here 3 summers and it was an awesome place to see them, it was all GA and I ended I ended up like 5th row of people right in front of Weezers, idk if that show was technichally sold out, but there was plenty of room in the back, and some of my friends who couldn't handle being packed in up front still enjoyed the show very much. Great crowd singing along to every song, can't wait to go again!

quit yer whining! Weezer was amazing @ the borgata show fer their last album. i saw everything clear as day & the sound system ROCKS!!! it was all general admission. i think the sound is far superior to other rooms of its size. i like the carpeted floor, the a/c cranks! great. some shows are completely G.A. floor ( like the last time i saw Weezer & the Killers 2 weeks ago ) & some shows have reserved seating in about 2/3's o' the place and open floor in the front. the only problem when there are seats is that the bars in the room are v.i.p. only so you have to go out o' the room to get a drink. when its all g.a. there are about 6-8 bars. SWEET! and don't blame ( most ) bands fer high ticket prices. look into the "360 clause" that record companies sign bands to these days. the company get a portion of ticket sales, t-shirts, etc. if you must blame somebody so you can sleep tonite, blame yer freind who shares files fer free & downloads illegally. the record companies ain't gonna take the hit quietly, so we, the fans balance their books for them or worse yet, the bands you love can't afford to stay together.

i am really pissed right now...i just left work early so i could get these tickets when they went on sale and now they don't go on sale till tomorrow??? whats the deal with that? that's an extra 90$ i could have made today but i threw it away so i can sit on my ass and write about how angry i am on message boards....weak man, seriously weak

I've been waiting all week for these tickets to go on sale--I left home early so I could be on my computer at work with plenty of time then freaking 10:00 rolls around and I find out that they don't go on sale till tomorrow. And I can't find the password/promo code anywhere! Damn you, LiveNation, damn you Borgata!
