how do we get tix, more specifically to the L.A. show? and is there going to be a normal tour?

This sucks ass. I live in Tucson and can't pick up any PHX stations. I'm a pretty ridiculously committed fan (flew from Tucson to LA for the MTV hootenanny) but it doesn't look like I'll be able to find a way into this show. :(

Damn it! I live outside the United States... if only there was some way that Weezer would come here...

Hell yes Weezer. River C. is the dopest mfer on the planet right now. Watch out Weezy... River should start going by Ol' Weezy and start a fake feud with Lil' Wayne. That would be rad. In other news, this lil' tour seems like a huge victory for Mr. R.C. and another huge win for us Weezer fans. We have consistently been treated to amazing and unique experiences that being a fan of any other band would never bring. Maladroit when telling Rivers to shred more on a demo meant the next day hearing a new demo with a shredding solo on it. Oh yeah and deciding the track list and name of the album. What up, Ace? The Album "5" Demos were some of the most organic recordings Weezer has ever made. Schmedly on the keys brought the songs to an even cooler feel. The fact that these songs never saw a commercial release means that us faithful were the only ones to enjoy those. 25 or so songs to be arranged into the album of my liking for free? Yes please! And now the Hootenanny! What a fun idea! I really hope this makes it way over to Baltimore, but I'd settle for NYC or something. This should be released on youtube so everyone can enjoy! I leave you with a theory: I think Rivers leaked those first 8 tracks himself. Just sayin'. Bigheadjoe

I have got to get in on this Karl! I listened all weekend to the radio but can't dial faster than some 15 year old girl who doesn't even know who Weezer is....I've got the songs ready to go...just get me in on this...please!

Seriously, why don't I live in Phoenix? I'm nearly there every weekend. I really wish I could've gone. Oh well, to all of those that are luck enough to go, have an awesome show!!

Hey Rivers, I've been following this project for a while now and I'm really enjoying your interactivity with everyone from the Youtube community. As for the upcoming hootenanny tour, are you planning anything on the east? More like North East? As in Toronto / Ottawa / Montreal ? I live and work in Ottawa. I would love to be a part of this; I work in the event industry and I would be willing to donate hours & hours to help bring you to town. I can arrange radio station sponsors, the venue, ticketing & contest on the event. If you need any production requests those could be handled as well as getting runners to fulfill what ever is on your rider. Please Please Please come to town.

YES!!! I'm soooo happy you're coming to Los angeles. I don't care how much GAS is right NOW!!! I"M THERE!!!! But I need to know where?? HOw soon can I be there? Can I get in line NOW? ...I MUST be admitted into the Portland show. I've been listening and calling the only radio station I figure would host such an awesome event, but to no avail. I play the guitar, ukelele, trumpet, singing saw, keys, piano, bass, and even a little accordion. If I DON'T get in to play with my favorite band, the band that made me pick up a guitar all those years ago, I will die unfulfilled. DOES ANYONE know ANY information about the Portland show? Why not have one song from each album instead of bringing "creep" in? Seems wierd but I still love you guys. Also, I think that's the most Rivers has ever talked at one time...
