I don't have a problem with the mustache, but the cowboy ensemble doesn't really match the personality and image of Rivers and Weezer that we've all grown to love.
Red is my favorite color, so that's cool, but I was also hoping to see that 3d W somewhere on it.
Another thought,
I've come to the realization that Rivers could be some sort of spy with how often he changes his looks. And some of them haven't been small changes either. I think one of the best was "Mountain man Rivers" where it looked like he hadn't seen a razor in a year.
Well I guess that's off topic enough.
Long Live Weezer
i think that everyone is thinking too hard. personally i think they all just wore what they were wearing and did not think about it. but i think it is weird that pat hasnt really changed much other than his hair in the past 14 years. but i like pats hair like that. as far as the cowboy thing, well think about it pig, pork and beans well, to top it off rivers just looks like a troublemaker, this is seriously my favorite album cover hope you dont change it =w=

brian looks like jesus, pat looks like he has on an outfit that used to belong to rivers, and scott looks like a bad ass, and of coarse rivers looks like a rock and roll cowboy lol
as said some posts ago: the dudes look like actors in a wes anderson movie...true!
i like the pnb cover from the first look. the album cover needs more time.
cheers, al.
Who the heck wrote that?
"To distinguish it from the other eponymous albums its being referred by people as “The Red Album” There are now no more primary colors to describe eponymous Weezer albums having exhausted blue and green previously (to learn more about primary colors go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primary_color)."
Thats a pretty odd official statement to say the least. I wonder if there are any other artists out there that have wikipedia links in their press releases...
For instance:
'Justin Timberlake's latest album features rhymes about body parts in boxes. To learn more about boxes go here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box).
C'mon people...
*I'll be waiting for that video!!!*
